Wednesday, 1 February: Ladies Lunch at The Fox & Goose. Booking essential 763239

Tuesday, 7 February: Parish Council Meeting 7.30pm at the Village Hall

Friday, 10 February: ‘Butterflies of The Heddon Valley’. Illustrated talk by Jack Ward, National Trust. An introduction to the butterflies living in and around Parracombe and what we can do to help them. 7pm (doors 6.30pm) at the Village Hall. Free entry, donations to the village hall. Licensed bar.

Friday, 17 February: Parracombe Archaeology & History Society Re-launch 6pm at the Village Hall. Short presentation and table displays of projects. Come along and find out what PAHS is all about. Licensed bar.

Sunday, 19 February: Big breakfast hosted by Blackmoor Gate YFC 9am – 12noon at the Village Hall. £10pp. All monies raised for Devon Air Ambulance and Blackmoor Gate Young Farmers Coalition.

Wednesday, 22 February: Coffee morning hosted by Lyn Line Dancers 11am-12noon at the Village Hall in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.

Friday, 24th February: ‘Really Ancient Parracombe’. Illustrated Talk by Linda Blanchard. Ever wondered what some of the mounds and earthworks you see locally were? Now’s your chance to find out. No previous knowledge of archaeology needed. 7pm (doors 6.30pm) at the Village Hall. Free entry, donations to the village hall. Licensed bar.
