Book Club has re-formed and will meet every six weeks to discuss a nominated book. Everyone will get a chance to choose a title. And when that choice is under discussion it’s their privilege to bring cake! Teas and coffees will be served, for a small donation. The first book is John Boyne’s ‘The Heart’s Invisible Furies’ which will be discussed on Thursday, 3 November, at the hall at 7.15pm. Everyone is welcome.

Knit, natter, crochet, chatter every Tuesday at 2pm at the Pavilion Stores & Café starting 18 October. Make some Christmas decorations which will be sold in the shop with half the proceeds going to charity

Chess Club every alternate Wednesday at 2pm at the Pavilion Stores & Café starting 5 October. Polish up your opening moves whilst competing in a friendly match.

Jigsaw Club every alternate Wednesday at 2pm at the Pavilion Stores & Café from 12 October onwards. Enjoy a lovely cuppa and cake whilst tackling a 1000 piece jigsaw with friends

Art Club will now meet weekly instead of fortnightly, 10am-12noon every Thursday at the Village Hall. £2. New members or drop-ins very welcome. A self-led group with occasional group projects. Demonstrations and workshops to be arranged from time to time. Tea & coffee provided.

Table tennis starts up again this month 5.30-7pm at the Village Hall on Wednesday 12, Friday 21 and Wednesday 26 October. Just turn up.

Craft Group is back at the Village Hall on the second Wednesday of every month, starting 12 October, 2-4pm.

Film Club also starts again this month on Sunday, 29 October at 7pm. Film Club runs throughout the winter months and was formed during the pandemic but it proved so popular it just carried on. It is an online group where everyone takes a turn to choose a film which people watch at the same time in the comfort of their own home and then post a review.
